Making a way out of no way!
So, how’s your word stack? Many of us that are in business and some of us that aren’t don’t realize how important it is to have your stack together. I’m talking about lining up words to literally make sense (your word stack). It doesn’t matter what the conversation is about. I get it…all conversation isn’t serious and all conversation isn’t about business.
So often we use words in the wrong context. You see I like simplicity and one of the best ways to express simplicity is by being clear in your communication. Once again, I understand that every time we speak it’s not always serious, but we should at least realize what’s coming out of our mouths.
What is the other person hearing? Are they doing the same thing? Are they listening to you speak incorrectly, but they aren’t saying anything? Always be on your “A Game” Just Because!!!
SO WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE:
Context
Content
Diction
Poise
If it’s stacked right and looks right, it’ll sound right!
*We should use words according to how they’re defined.
*We should also be saying something that validates and interesting comment or conversation.
*Our pronunciation should be clear, so that’s are words are understood.
*Additionally, we should be poised as to not speak or sound like a run on sentence (rambling) and we use emphasis were appropriate.
Many of us are seasoned adults, seasoned professionals, etc., yet we have so much to say about the upcoming generation.
Let’s help the next generation by speaking properly and communicating effectively. So, think before you speak and don’t forget your word stack!
