it’s always important to stay grounded for various reasons. Your expectations should always be high, but your mindset needs to be balanced. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing or what you’re planning to do. It;s important to know every aspect of what’s needed and every aspect of what you actually are capable of doing. The question you must always ask yourself …bottom line DO I REALLY UNDERSTAND MY WEAKNESS FROM MY STRENGTH.
Whatever your answer is, that is the thing that builds your confidence and determines how well you’ll do. The physical and the practical levels of understanding is usually manageable for most people. The psychological aspects are the tough ones. Now, what is your project? Is it weight loss, is it a sporting game or competition?
In all things you have the mental perspective, but when it’s about your lively hood, closing the big deal, or maybe even passing a test I feel you have to remain grounded. The voice inside your head is lying to you when it goes against your first train of thought.
If your initial thoughts aren’t about things that will hurt you, hurt someone else, or cause some sever irreversible circumstances I’d ignore that common yet impact second doubtful thought.
In my training (7 Defining Steps to The Cure 4 Your Business & Existence) I talk about the importance that people, places & things plays In our efforts to achieve and overcome. This topic is no exception. The people you are around will affect how grounded you will remain. If they are solid achievers, you will more than likely maintain a reasonable and solid demeanor, and a sense of level thinking.
If they are not achievers and more like average people that have jobs, but not goal oriented you may encounter a higher than normal level of doubt and second guessing. Let’s be clear everyone in either of the aforementioned descriptions is 100% that way all of the time. So I’m speaking in a general sense.
The same relates to the places you go and the things that you do. In order to stay grounded your environment needs to be fruitful and that should match the things you do. Have you ever heard the term garbage in and garbage out? Same thing…negative people, places, & things produces negative people, places & things all day long!
