Making a way out of no way: By: Alexia Singleton
When life comes at you as hard as it can and knocks you off your feet, it is important that you get back up and stand strong. That is exactly what Charles Cary has done throughout the duration of his life, and he still does. After spending 25 years in the gutters of New York City and facing a conviction, there seemed to be nowhere to turn as Cary hit rock bottom. In addition, Cary had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which is a type of Non-Hodgkings lymphoma in which cancer originates from a specific type of white blood cells called lymphocytes. Although being faced with that type of adversity, Charles Cary did not give up on himself.
In fact, he was given a second chance to not only live a better life, but to also make a difference in others. After overcoming many obstacles, Cary is now an international trainer, public speaker, and author. As an international speaker and trainer, Charles Cary, also known as Sir Charles, encourages his audiences that they can shift their life into a positive direction.
“We live the life we live in the end they’ll see if our life was really real or just a fantasy. It is what it is and what does that mean? Whatever happens there is no in between.” Cary expresses to SSU Intern, Alexia Singleton, when asked about what quote he lives by.
As an Amazon best seller, he has written six books in four different genres. One in particular entitled, “Radiate the Brain & Change the Game: After Diagnosis “From Crack to Cancer to Cured,” where Cary speaks to cancer survivors and shares his experiences drug abuse and being a two time cancer survivor.
Sir Charles Cary continues to speak to the public and he also provides personal coaching services. For more information about Cary and his services visit sircharlescaryinc.com.
Alexia it was good meeting you and your VP & Advertising Director Ms. Tanya Milton. I have to make this journey alone, but I will not be lonely. I’m armed with a cause!
