Cee Lo Green wrote a song titled “Forget You” and I haven’t forgotten it since. Regardless to how talented he is and the singing range that he has, it reminded me of a key factor in life. It may be hard to do, but sometimes you have to forget people. I understand that it sounds hard, but those are the facts and allow me to explain.
- Everybody is not prepared for the sacrifice and the journey that is designed for you. As it is written in my book…we are all given a talent skill or gift, so in essence we’re aligned by design.
- You should always do the work, but you don’t know when you’re time is going to happen. It could be in two weeks or twenty years, but whatever it is you can’t carry dead weight. The people may not be bad, but when it’s time to take off you’ve got to be ready to go. You can pick them up on the back end…maybe.
- Trying to focus on your goals …(basic or complex) will take work. Those that I’m suggesting you forget, they will be a distraction or road block.
To become the ultimate you is not necessarily complex…you just need the space and the opportunity to discover that within yourself. Although, some will say that the distractions that we fight through are part of the process (I’d agree)…when you go in knowing what you’re up against it sure can make the process a lot easier.
The one say that we can all benefit is to simply take heed. How difficult would it be for you to forget people or have you already done it?
