What are you doing for a living? Is it the same thing that you did in high school or what your college degree is for? That’s a heavy question and trust me I know it. I’m under the impression that since nothing in life is perfect…we are meant to make a ton of mistakes in life and then get back on track only if we’ve paid attention to the signs in life as it reflects on us personally.
Let’s face it you’ve heard messages somewhere in life about what you need to do and you made the necessary adjustments and regardless to your success level…some of us are still treading water in that new direction. This is the thing…when did you decide that you wanted to switch direction? I’m sure it was as an adult.
By now, you may be saying Charles what the heck is your point! If you had made some of your adult choices as a child YOU MAY have had a different set of life circumstances to deal with. Society turns our lives upside down with trends, fads and impressions that can cause us to be all over the map and it’s not until we hit rock bottom or we’re TOTALLY tired of our current situations that we buy into new advice!!
So (#1) when you find out that the dream has layers upon layers that are difficult to manifest…doing something else may seem very appealing…unless you literally never tire of it! On the other hand (#2) doing what you’re good at may be because of habit. Meaning you started doing something that you didn’t care about and you just got good at it after awhile.
The problem is many of us never distinguish or decide…which of the two is the best thing to stick with in the long haul. Ok, so we all realize there may be various stages or forks in the road and the end decision does not have to be pick one thing or the other. For some people, (#3) they have the capacity to do multiple things seemingly at the same time. Wow….interesting!
I hope I haven’t lost you. So as a final thought if #3 happens to be your honest authentic position embrace it…just don’t mislead yourself because you’re trying to capitalize on things from a monetary perspective. I teach people on all platforms that your gifts are already inside of you. However, it’s up to you to massage them and breathe life into them.
Our dreams are compounded…you must be clear at understanding your dreams. A. Sometimes we dream of doing something because we’ve seen it and it’s made an impression on us. Some dreams are more organic. B. You start longing for something that nobody has ever spoken to you about or that you’ve never seen, and this things just keeps on pulling at you. Neither of those have to be something that you’re good at…
However, if those two things are something that you seem to have a natural knack at. Not only might you have a natural knack at them, but once again you may never tire from them. Some times we need to speak to someone about our journey, because it may be that those two things are the space that you are destined to make your mark at!
